Material

Polyester is used for both circuit layers and overlay layers. High temp and corrosion resistant, the flexibility and  mechanism are good as well as  high reliability. It is mostly suitable used in  products where the application  environment are atrocious or products are emboss required. 

Polycarbonate is usually used  for overlays. It has more competitive price than PET so mostly used in products  that styles improved frequently, such as  microwave oven and toys , etc.
